I’m so excited for another Must-Have Monday post. Mondays can be such a drag sometimes…this is truly the highlight of my Monday. Today I am gushing about my absolute most favorite blush…Frat Boy from theBalm.
I started using theBalm cosmetics a few years ago and have a number of their eye shadow palettes, bronzers and blushes, but this one is by far my favorite. Let me first start by saying that this blush will last forever. A little sure does go a long way. I started using this blush almost daily over a year and just barely replaced it last week. I’m not ashamed to say that I used this blush all the way to the bare pan.
This product doubles as a shadow and a blush, but I have only used it as a blush. I love how It gives you the most natural flushed look. This blush is good for everyday use and even for going out. It looks good in any season and is good for all skin tones. I love how you can apply it with a light hand for a subtle look, but also apply it with a heavier hand for a full makeup look. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a new blush. It retails for $21 and can be purchased at any retailer that carries theBalm. I bought mine at Nordstrom and am convinced that this blush was well worth every penny.
Anyone else try this blush?! I would love to hear your thoughts.

I’m so excited about this NARS launch. I absolutely love blush of all kind. It is a makeup bag essential. NARS is known for their blush…after all they are the creators of the world renown Orgasm, so you know this collections is going to be hot.
This collection is available on March 4th at Sephora and NARS stores and will be available at most department stores in April.
This awesome collections comes in 6 shades – Adoration, Craving, Fervor, Frenzy, Jubilation and Panic. The different shades can cover all skin tones. The best thing about this blush is that you can wear it wet or dry. If you want a more intense color then you can apply it dry or if you want a light wash of color then you can apply it wet. This multi-faceted blush can easily work for day or night and for any occasion.
I can’t wait to get my hands on these! Anyone else excited?!

Have you heard of Beauty Booked?! I read about this on Allure and just had to rave about it. Basically it is a website that also has an app where you search different beauty places and book your appointment on the spot.
To me it is like a Yelp made especially for beauty services. How awesome is that?! First you set the area you are searching in. The only con is that there are only 7 areas available at the moment – New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Miami and San Francisco. They are expected expand this list soon. Once you have your area selected you can dig a bit deeper and choose the city nearest to you. Then the fun starts…you can search by beauty category – Blowout, Nails, Haircut, Tanning, Facial, Massage, Hair Color, Makeup, Brows or Bikini. Once you narrowed down the service you are looking for you can start browsing all the awesome salons. Each salon will have their own profile where you can view their general information such as hours and exact location, menu, reviews and even pictures of the place. Beauty Booked also teamed up with Allure, so you can even see what salons are “Allure Approved”. After you have decided on a place, you can go ahead and book an appointment without ever calling the salon. That means you can book any appointment 24/7 and you have all the information about the salon at your fingertips.
I encourage everyone to visit the website or download the app and check it out. It is seriously awesome and I know it will only get better as they add more cities to their portfolio.
I would love to hear your thoughts on Beauty Booked!

I love Valentine’s Day. Nothing like the mushy gushy love feeling in the air. I am a true hopeless romantic and can’t help but love those one of a kind, super sweet gifts. People consider them a bit “corny” and while it is true…they still are able to make your significant other smile and feel good which is always the most important thing to accomplish on Valentine’s Day!
While looking for Valentine’s Day Gifts to give my significant other, I came across some really awesome gifts that would surely make any one feel special on Valentine’s Day and decided that it is worth sharing with everyone.
Chocolate Says – How awesome is this? You can have your own personalized message written in a box of chocolates. You can pick from an 8/12/15/24 piece of chocolate letters that would fit any personal message to your loved one. Such a sweet treat that anyone would enjoy.
Max & Chloe Dog Tag Necklace $178 – You can never fail with a jewelry gift. You can have your name and even a date engraved on this. That way you can always wear your partners name around your neck.
DIGIArtPrints Famous Couples $10 – I just love this. There are so many different options to choose from: all the way from famous couples to famous Disney couples and more. All you need to do is decide what print size you would like – 5×7, 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 14 and provide you and your significant other’s name and date you would like placed in the heart. You can also customize the letter color to fit your own home decor or liking.
Photo Beer Labels $12 – Who doesn’t love their own unique 6-pack of beer? You can upload up to three pictures to have printed and insert text as well. I love that you can use this for beer or bottled soda. This company can also make personalized wine labels as well.
Heart Snapshot Mix $98 – This is a real foil pressed custom photo art print that ranges from $48 to $98 depending on the size and whether or not you want it framed. This is such a unique keepsake that you can personalize with 30 of your most memorable photos. This is such a great gift that you can keep displayed and look back at to remember all of the good times that you have shared together.
B&H Collar Stays $25 – It’s the subtle details that matter. All of us know that a collar stay isn’t something that is visible when wearing. But it’s the thought that your partner is wearing something that reminds them of you is a nice feeling. It is like you being with them all day.
Custom Treat Order $36 – OMG, delicious custom treats. These treats come in so many awesome flavors. From Red Velvet to Chocolate Peanut Butter to Birthday Cake to name a few. You can add a custom picture or message on the top of these yummy treats. The cost for a 12-pack box is about $36 which breaks down to $2 a treat plus $1 for each custom image. This is a winning gift for all the sweet tooth’s out there.
Eugene2 Personalized Pillow Covers $25 – These are the cutest things ever. I just love all of their pillow designs, but this is one of my favorites. This cute fishing for love pillow cover has simple, but cute stick figures and you can personalize by adding your names and the date. This shop has so many different options that you will be sure to find the one that best suits your relationship.
I hope you enjoyed these cute personalized Valentine’s Day gifts.

Yay! I love Must-Have Monday. There is nothing better than being able to gush about my most loved product of the moment. Today I have a hair product for you. For those of you that don’t know me…I have frizzy hair and right now it is pretty long. I am trying to grow it out, but as all of you know…the longer your hair, the harder it is to keep it healthy. Unfortunately, I have a mixture of wavy/straight/frizzy hair so I must flatiron my hair daily. Yes, this makes it even more difficult to keep my hair healthy.
My co-worker told me about this product and at first I bought the travel-size just to try it out and ohhhmmmyyygossshhh I fell in love. First, this product smells amazing. It has a fruity smell, but it is not at all overwhelming. It leaves a very refreshing smell in your hair. Most importantly, it protects my hair from my flatiron and it really helps to eliminate the fizziness. It in part also works as a light hairspray. It does not make your hair stiff or sticky whatsoever, but it does help keep flyways down. I also use this product as a finishing spray and its awesome. It leaves a nice shine on my hair that is long lasting. Although, I haven’t used this product to add volume to my hair, I read that if you spray it at the base of your roots and use a styling tool then you can really get some nice volume. Nothing better than a multi-purpose product right?
The larger size retails for $20 and can be bought at Ulta or any other beauty supply store. If you’re not sure you want to buy the large size quite yet, you can purchase the travel size for $9. I also forgot to mention that this hot spray is good for protection against all styling tools – hot rollers, curling, iron, etc. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
Has anyone tried out this product?! I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

I seriously suffer from dry hands. They are especially dry during the winter season. It gets so bad that little cuts start to appear on my hands and it is both painful and uncomfortable. I researched it a bit and also spoke with my doctor about it and learned that it can be a combination of things. People either have a strong or weak skin barrier. Those with a weak skin barrier are more likely to suffer from sensitive skin and also tend to have really dry skin during the colder seasons. Also, people who wash their hands a lot also tend to suffer from extremely dry skin.
It is said that the best way to remedy this and to make it less painful is to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!
With that said…I have been trying out a lot of different lotions to see what ones provide the most moisture and relief during these colder months. So without further ado, here is my list for the best hand lotions for extremely dry skin!
Bliss ‘High Intensity’ Hand Cream 2.5 oz $18
Gold Bond Ultimate Intensive Healing Hand Cream 3 oz $3.87
Lush Cosmetics Helping Hands 3.5 oz $18.95
Yes to Carrots Intense Repair Hand Cream 3 oz $8.99
Eucerin Intensive Repair Extra-Enriched Hand Creme 2.7 oz $5.49
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Concentrate Skin Cream 2.1 oz $2.59
Jack Black Industrial Strength Hand Healer 3 oz $15
AVON Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing & Repair Hand Cream 4.2 oz $5
L’Occtaine Shea Butter Hand Cream 1 oz $12
Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream 2.37 oz $22
I hope that you enjoyed my list.
How do you keep your hands nice and moisturized?!

Nails Nails Nais! For me the hardest part of getting my nails done is deciding what color nail polish I want. I mean, seriously, it is going to be on your nails for at least a week…for most people two weeks. So, yes it is a big decision. First, you have to decide if you have any special occasions to attend in the next few days so you can coordinate it with your outfit. If there is no special occasion to attend, then you need to figure out what color is “in” for the season. Lastly, you then have to decide what color fits best for you skin tone.
Sigh…yes, very cumbersome.
With that said, I have decided to compile a list of the best nude nail polishes. First off, nude nails is perfect for any outfit and it is totally in for all seasons. You can find the perfect nude for you regardless of you skin tone. From a sheer pink nude for those who are fair skinned to a taupe for those with a more medium skin tone.
So without further ado…here is my list of the best nude nail polishes!

What is your favorite makeup bag?!
I am so fortunate to have been sent these wraps! I’ve seen different nail wraps online and at stores, but have always been too scared to buy them. I am the type of person that always has my nails done…but I never, ever do them myself. I go to the nail shop for my mani/pedi every 2 weeks and I always see the same lady since she knows exactly how I like my nails. I am wayyyy to afraid to do my nails myself, hence why I have never ventured into nail wraps.
The package I received came with –
-Sheet of Nail Wraps
-Rubber Cuticle Pusher
-Card with step-by-step directions
Before I go into my step-by-step pictures, I want to give you my thoughts on this product. First off, there are soooo many different nail wrap designs to choose from and they are all soooo BEAUTIFUL! In addition, there is so much range in the designs available…all the way from Halloween to floral to animal print to sparkles to french tip. Regardless of your style, you will find one to meet your liking. Did I mention, they also have a “Jamberry Juniors” and “Mommy & Me” lines?! Awesome right? You can get your little one involved and to top it off you can both pick matching wraps. The wraps can be applied on both your fingernails or toenails.
Most importantly, to my surprise, these nail wraps are so easy to apply. Like I said, I am not too handy with doing my nails so the fact that I succeeded is a big plus. The application is not messy, easy to follow and takes such a small amount of time to do.
I see myself using these nail wraps on all 10 fingers or I think it would also be nice if you had your nails painted and then applied one of the nail wraps to your ring finger just for something extra. I also think it looks great to have a different nail design on each nail. The nail wrap on each finger can be different, but they can all look as though they belong in the same family, which will give you a real unique set of nails.
So with out further ado…here is my step-by-step. Keep in mind that this is my first time using this product. I always want to give you all the “real deal” so with a little more practice, they can look even more amazing.
Here are the items I received
And the different nail wraps
1. Clean your nails with the alcohol wipe provided and push back your cuticles
2. Match your nail with the nail wrap that fits best (the nail wraps are on a clear sheet so it makes it really easy to size up your nail against the nail wrap. Just place your nail behind the sheet with the nail wrap and you can easily find the one that fits.)
3. Peel off the nail wrap and heat it with a blow dryer for a few seconds until it is soft and flexible
4. Press the nail wrap on your nail and apply pressure
5. Use the rubber cuticle pusher to seal the base of the nail wrap
6. Trim the top of the remaining nail wrap (On a side note- if you have shorter nails you can use one nail wrap for 2 fingers. When you size your nail wrap you can cut the nail wrap in half and leave the other half on the sheet to apply to the next nail. I couldn’t do this since my nails are a bit long.)
7. File off the remainder of the wrap using a downward motion
8. Apply additional heat and pressure until the wrap is secure
Here a few shots of the finished product. I didn’t really like how my thumb turned out so that is why the pictures are mostly of my four fingers. I am verrryyy satisfied with how the rest of the nails turned out and I received so many compliments from random people.
I definitely recommend this product to anyone. It is great to have always have a sheet of these nail wraps handy that way when you don’t have the time to go to the nail shop or you just don’t have the time to sit and paint your nails then you can just pop on these nail wraps and go about your day.
If you are interested in purchasing this product, you can buy it here or contact Michelle Davila at email@example.com.
I received a sample sheet of nail wraps, but the full sheet comes with more than enough or all of your nails. Each sheet retails for $15 a piece, but right now on there is a promotion that if you buy 3 sheets then your 4th sheet is free.
Have any of you tried out this product before? I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
