October flew by so fast. I can’t believe it is already November! Excited and nervous about starting my Christmas shopping. Problem is that I always end up buying a ton of stuff for myself when I should be buying for others. Arggg. Well, I’ll stop rambling. One good thing about the month coming to an end is that I get to share with you my most loved products of October.
So let’s get started…
NYX Cosmetics Hi Definition Photo Concealer Wand $4.99 – This concealer is amazing. It comes in 8 different shades and also has 3 color corrective shades as well – yellow, lavender and green. I love to use this concealer as a highlight and also under my eyes to make them really pop. The consistency of this product is so smooth and it blends perfectly. Best thing about it is that it is only $5. This is a definite must-have!
Aveeno Ultra-Calming Makeup Removing Wipes $6.50 – Makeup removing wipes are an everyday essential for me. I usually go the gym right after work and use these wipes to get most of my makeup off before my workout. Usually I am not too picky when it comes to makeup removing wipes. I have tried out so many and all of them seem about the same. All the same until I got my hands on these ones. These wipes are perfect. They are so soft and they smell great. They do the job and remove all my makeup and leave my face feeling fresh and clean.
e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit $3 – This eyebrow kit is on my list for my most-loved e.l.f. products. Enough can’t be said about this product. It is truly amazing. It comes in 4 different shades – light, medium, dark and ash. I use this eyebrow kit everyday and I just love it. I use the darker shade to outline my eyebrows and use the lighter shade to help fill them in. The consistency of the product is waxy so it is perfect for taming your hairs and keeping them in place all day. Best and most amazing thing about this product is that it is only $3! If you haven’t tried this product, I highly recommend that you do. It is truly life changing.
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner $7 – I love this eyeliner. It comes in 3 shades – black, brown and gray. I use the black eyeliner and it is amazing. This is the perfect eyeliner for the waterline. I love that it is super black and super creamy. It is so easy to apply and just glides on my waterline effortlessly. This eyeliner is also very easy to blend and perfect for smudging. It is also great for achieving a smoky eye. This product has a permanent spot in my makeup bag.
Kiehl’s Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Eye Cream $42 – I have tried out a few of Kiehl’s products in the past and really loved them. I recently went to Nordstrom and stumbled across this eye cream and decided to give it a shot. Eye cream is an essential part of your every day routine. Eye creams can get pretty pricey and many people tend to forget about their eye area, but please don’t skimp on this. Normal continuous use of eye cream can really make a different overtime. As I am getting older, I have been looking into more wrinkle reducing and anti-aging products. Better to start sooner then later right?! My skin gets really dry around this season and believe it or not even the skin around my eyes gets super dry and flaky. I love this product because if feels so rich and creamy. It is super moisturizing, has a great smell and leaves my eye area feeling very fresh and hydrated. I would definitely recommend this product if you are in the market for a good eye cream.
Lush’s Handy Gurugu Hand Cream $18.95 – I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I really do have dry skin. Especially my hands. Sometimes my hands get so dry that they tend to crack and omg it hurts so bad. I can apply and re-apply lotion and sometimes it will really do me no good. But this product really does the job when my hands are super dry. The product seems to really seep in my skin and it really does make my hands instantly feel smooth and velvety. The cream coats my hands perfectly and doesn’t leave me with that really oily residue. One warning though, the smell of this product is “different”. I don’t hate the smell of this product, but I don’t love it either. To be honest, the smell doesn’t really bother me, but it does bother my boyfriend. So if you are sensitive to smell I would recommend trying it out first before purchasing. Also, this hand cream is not ideal for you to carry around in your purse. The packaging is pretty bulky. I usually use this one at nighttime, but this is hand cream is ideal for the house or office.
I would love to hear what your October Favorites are or if you have tried out any of these products.
